2nd Line Technical Support Engineer (SCCM)
Contract, Full Time
£13.00 per hour (inside IR35)
Contract until 31.03.20 (extension possible)

The 2nd line technical support engineer required to work as part of field engineering team working on a dedicated customer contract based in  Peterborough. This role will be working within a team of 15-20 shared service engineers and looking after an onsite user base of 300 - 400 people as well as external sites.

The role is based on rota shifts of 08:00 – 16:30 and 09:30 – 18:00
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Be the 1st/2nd line escalation point onsite for customer related incidents and resolve these issues via the phone, email or at desk side.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues professionally to the agreed SLA's on both hardware and software based systems.
  • Work effectively as part of a service support team.
  • Escalate issues to 3rd Line Analysts when required.
  • Ability to be proactive and look at the bigger picture
Experience/understanding of the following technologies:
  • SCCM (must have)
  • Windows 10 (must have)
  • Active Directory (must have)
  • Group Policy (must have)
  • SCOM
  • Symantec
  • Bitlocker
  • Servers, desktops, laptops (general troubleshooting)
