Role: 3rd Line Technical Support Engineer
Location: Reading, Berks
Salary:  £30k+ brilliant benefits 
Shifts: 07:00 - 15:30 / 10:30 - 19:00 (Mon-Fri) + on-call rota

Having experienced huge growth in recent years you will enjoy working as part of an industry leading team of 5 Technical Support Engineers with the backing and expertise of a highly technical infrastructure team offering renowned service and solutions to their ever increasing client base as well as the wider organisation.

You will need to have a strong technical background, with knowledge of Redhat or Ubuntu Linux, and working within a LAMP stack. In addition, experience of networking, virtualisation technologies and Windows Server would be advantageous.

Technical skills:

Experience of some or all of the following;
  • Linux (Redhat derivative/Ubuntu)
  • LAMP Stack
  • Active Directory
  • Firewalls
  • Citrix XenServer / KVM
  • CloudStack/OpenStack
  • HA SANs
  • MySQL / SQL Server
  • Windows Server
  • Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking
  • Ability to install and decommission a range of hardware
  • Maintaining and updating accurate documentation of systems and processes
