Job Title:   Access VBA Developer
Contract:   Permanent, Full Time
Salary:       £30-45k per annum
Location:  Hungerford
Hybrid working split between home and office but need to be able to regularly commute to the office (min. 1/2 days per week)
 
Position Summary:
 
Our client is a data automation consultancy who provide bespoke business analysis tools for companies that have heavy data reporting requirements, providing effective and user-friendly reporting solutions such as dashboards and management information systems.
 
They are now looking for a Consultant to join their busy team based in Hungerford, Berkshire. Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will split their time between their office and home but will be required to travel to client locations on an ad-hoc basis (mainly London). The working environment will be intellectually challenging and rewarding. 
 
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
 
Essential skills

• 3-5 years of developing business-driven solutions in Access
• Solid understanding of Access VBA
• Knowledge of Excel an advantage

Other technical skills

• Microsoft Office
• SQL Server/Oracle

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Previous experience in a programming or business analyst role for a consulting or blue chip organisation
• Experience of working in a high-pressure, rapid application development environment
• Excellent client relation skills and ability to work unsupervised

Education
Educated to degree level (BA/BSc), ideally from a science or engineering field.
