Job role: Business Grant Administrator (not for profit)
Location: Fully Remote (role covers East Sussex, Kent & Essex)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (can be flexible for right person)
Salary: Up to £25k pro rata for project length
Contract Period: Until 30th June 2022

As the Grant administrator for this not for profit organisation you will work as part of a project team supporting the Southern Local Enterprise Partnership region covering Essex, Kent and East Sussex.

Your role will specifically be focussed on effectively administrating and coordinating grant applications during very specific enrolment windows, supporting businesses with their applications, following up on documentation required, providing feedback to successful and unsuccessful applicants and meeting tight deadlines.
 
You will report directly to the Project Manager and your responsibilities will include:
  • Undertake administrative tasks and complete project support documentation as required
  • Administering grant process and other business support applications
  • Issue Grant Funding Agreements and amendments if required
  • Checking of grant claim paperwork and contacting customers if any information is outstanding
  • Completion of purchase orders on Xero
  • Data input to CRM system as well as Excel spreadsheets
  • Dealing with queries from beneficiaries, external partners and suppliers
  • Ensure action plans/template and related paperwork are completed in a timely manner and complies with project reporting and process requirements
  • Organising meetings and taking minutes
To be successful in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
  • Previous experience in a process driven, deadline focussed administrative role
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Good knowledge of MS office suite and applications
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to work remotely and independently but remain motivated and focussed on the timescales set and project deadlines
  • Process Driven
You will receive a work from home allowance for this role to purchase appropriate equipment to effectively work from home as well as a very generous pension contribution (10-12% employer contribution).

This person will be on a fixed term contract with the organisation directly and any continuation to the project will depend on funding available at the time.
