Job Role: Facilities Assistant with CAD
Location: Henley on Thames, Berkshire
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months (possible extension)
Salary: £28-30k per annum
Office based ideally but hybrid possible

As the Facilities Assistant for this Global Facilities Provider, based onsite at an Investment management company you will provide Facilities support to the  Facilities team and AutoCAD assistance to the EMEA Space Planner & Moves Manager.

  • Project and Moves & Changes (MAC) Support
  • Manage starters & leavers updates 
  • Support business as usual (BAU) moves and projects
  • Manage fire and first aid
  • Manage meeting room plans
  • Cover ad-hoc facilities tasks to support the wider UK team
  • Content maintenance for intranet pages
  • Drawing maintenance
  • Upkeep of global computer aided design (CAD) library
Additional information:  
  1. The responsibilities listed above are not intended to be exclusive and additional ones may be agreed with the line manager from time to time. 
  2. It may be necessary for employees to work on a variety of projects from time to time, which are managed by different senior managers. In such cases they will take due direction from the senior manager concerned for each individual project. 
  3. The line manager is responsible for setting mutually agreed objectives, undertaking regular reviews and a formal annual performance appraisal. 
  • An interest in or experience of working in a Facilities Management operation 
  • Experience of working in a corporate environment 
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Comprehensive use of key Office 365 products
  • Able to work within a fast-paced team environment
  • AutoCAD training/qualifications and/or practical draughting experience
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and make decisions
  • Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues face to face or over the phone
  • Ability to travel to other offices when required
  • An understanding or awareness of CAFM / IWMS systems 
  • Desire to work in a Real Estate, Facilities organisation
