Are you an experienced HR Coordinator with a focus on Right to work compliance, legislation and standards? 

The role of HR Compliance Coordinator has a clear objective – to mitigate risk to the business in terms of Right to Work in the UK. As the People Compliance Coordinator you will be instrumental in driving compliance but also supporting Right to Work for people across the business, and the workforce supply chain.

Whilst sitting in the People function this role works closely with the Head of Sustainability and with the operational teams.

About You:

The right person for this position will be working in a role that is focused on understanding the serious nature and legal obligations of Right to Work compliance but who has an ability to work with others to offer advice and support and who is willing to share expertise with those in Site Operational roles to do the right thing.

You will be a first-class communicator, who is comfortable dealing with difficult situations. Your comprehension of Right to Work legislation and identifying the appropriate authorities to approach for support or expertise, is invaluable, should situations arise where employees and/or the business is threatened by non-compliance.

You will have a calm nature, able to manage situations professionally, with a keen eye for detail and rigor in standards checking.

We are looking for an independent expert who can balance reinforcement of the rules with an ability to mentor and coach people, clients, stakeholders, and workforce supply chain.

  • Confident influencer – You may face difficult situations, but you are not afraid to say ‘no’, explaining why and taking swift correct action.
  • Sociable & collaborative – you will act as a supportive expert offering help and guidance
  • Proactive ‘self-starter’ who takes the initiative to develop and implement best practice standards.
