£35-45K DOE
CIPD qualified
9-5.30 Monday to Friday - 37.50 hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified HR Manager, CIPD level 5 and must have HR management experience.
You will ideally have five years experience as an HR Manager.
Responsible for 172 employees in the UK with a total of 400 staff worldwide.  You would have 2 direct reports.
  • Right to work in the UK checks.
  • To manage the HR department and ensure appropriate records are generated and maintained and that relevant employee legislation is adhered to.
  • To ensure training courses are kept updated for the Group.
  • To ensure the employment software application remains updated and relevant to changing requirements within the Group and complies with changing legislation.
  • To ensure that all reports requested by the Board are delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Input and check payrolls.
  • Pension compliance and auto enrolment procedures on a monthly basis, annual scheme reviews with external advisors and staff support.
  • To ensure compliance of GDPR regulations within the HR department.
  • Manage leases for company cars and ensure the safety of both vehicles and drivers. Risk assessments and licence checks kept updated.
  • To manage all individual employment issues, researching solutions and taking appropriate advice when necessary.
  • To keep updated with employment law and advise the Board of any changes and its current policies.
  • Develop the company employment policies, procedures and employee handbook. 
  • To manage and assist with all administrative tasks within the HR department including reception cover, travel, business cards, stationery, consumables, post, mobile phones and credit cards.
  • Good knowledge of employment law and all HR procedures.
  • Ownership of all employment issues, disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, settlement agreements, investigations, performance, conduct, capability etc

  • Skills and Training, ensuring consistency of scoring across all business units.
  • Good computer skills
  • HR advice, guidance and support for Board, managers and staff.

This role will be constantly growing as the company is progressing rapidly. Initially familiarisation with their practices and procedures working with the team on reception who are responsible for HR administration to understand the base level of the daily HR admin.  At the same time you will be working with the current Group Board PA, Company Secretary & HR Manager on current employment issues with a view to them stepping back from HR within a year, maybe sooner, to focus on other responsibilities.

The role requires a flexible, accommodating, and happy individual. Able to work independently or as part of a team.  The role is office based.
  
The company has many offices worldwide and all Group HR records are kept in the HR department, with the exception of Germany due to local GDPR restrictions.
  
The company is also looking to implement a new employment software programme in 2022 so will need considerable input from the HR team.
