As the HR & Recruitment administrator for this rapidly growing and successful cyber services provider, you’ll play an integral role providing administrative support covering the full recruitment and employment lifecycle, including collating all changes for payroll & benefits and answering queries

About the Role:
    
You will work closely with the hiring managers and accounts team to ensure that the business is adhering to all employment legislation, supporting the recruitment process, helping to onboard new employees, and maintaining accurate employee records. You will be supported by an external HR Partner to assist and further develop your employee relations knowledge and work towards creating a positive, inclusive work environment.
 
Responsibilities:
    
Recruitment: Support recruitment administration, drafting and posting adverts, managing the ATS, communicating with candidates, agencies and recruiting managers, responding to queries, setting up interviews.

Employment documentation: Create offers and contractual changes and carry out references and background checks for all employees and contractors.

Onboarding & induction: Ensure new starters are set up on all systems, provided with welcome information and induction documentation. Set up regular group inductions, co-ordinating timings for those presenting, and arranging lunch (if applicable)

Payroll: Collate all changes for payroll and work closely with Finance to ensure that payroll is processed accurately and promptly.

Communication: Support in creating engaging employee communications, collating content from across the business and other external sources.

Culture/engagement: Helping to create a positive and inclusive culture including organising events, purchasing gifts. Work with supporting functions to run events in line with awareness campaigns and look to support the promotion of the employer brand, collating and sharing content.

HR Administration: Be the point of contact on all HR matters such as maternity, paternity & adoption leave, Pensions, Benefits, Holiday entitlement etc. Communicate changes to the employee and help to produce guidance documents and promote benefits.

Exit interviews: Set up exit interviews and support with follow-up interviews.

General support: Manage the HR inbox, answering queries, reference requests, etc, and allocating more complex queries to the external HR BP team. Support the team in creating documents and presentations, setting up meetings or training, taking notes and researching.
 
Required Skills & Experience:      
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Highly organised and able to work at pace
  • Good listener, asks good questions
  • Clear, courteous, and diplomatic communication style
  • Able to build good working relationships
  • Highly numerate; able to carry out complex date calculations, holiday entitlements etc
  • Qualified to CPP / CIPD level 3 or equivalent (or Payroll Technician)
  • Experience of administration in a HR, payroll, or similar context
  • Keen to develop understanding of the recruitment cycle and employment law
  • Basic understanding of payroll and HR processes, including leave, salary sacrifice schemes and calculating holiday entitlements
  • Basic understanding of HR systems/ATS
  • Strong Microsoft user, including Excel, MS Forms & Word.
