Position Summary:
Our client is a data automation consultancy who provide bespoke business analysis tools for companies that have heavy data reporting requirements, providing effective and user-friendly reporting solutions such as dashboards and management information systems.
They are now looking for an expert Access Developer to join their busy team based near Pangbourne in Berkshire. Reporting to the Directors, the successful candidate will be predominately office-based but will also be required to travel to client locations on a regular basis. The working environment will be intellectually challenging and rewarding. 
Essential skills

  • 3-5 years of developing business-driven solutions in Access
  • Solid understanding of Access VBA
  • The ability to use Excel to manipulate data and create reports

Other technical skills

  • Microsoft Office
  • SQL Server/Oracle


  • Previous experience in a programming or business analyst role for a consulting or blue chip organisation
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, rapid application development environment
  • Multi tasking ability due to the number of projects being worked on at any one time
  • Excellent client relation skills and ability to work unsupervised


Educated to degree level (BA/BSc), ideally from a science or engineering field.
