Business Development Executive – Wholesale
£25,000 basic depending on experience – £35,000 OTE Year 1 + Benefits
Newbury HQ – Covering South England

Our client is an innovative downlighting company that offers the industry a solution to cluttered ceilings and due to large interest and growth, they are now seeking a driven and passionate individual to extend their reach in the South of England. You will be extremely charismatic and personable with the aim of building rapport with Wholesale management & members of the buying team, outlining the features and benefits of the product and committing outlets to take stock of the range.  It is envisaged that you will be field sales based for 4 days per week.
 
Key Responsbilities:
 

  • – Proactively build and maintain strong relationships with key individuals in target electrical wholesalers, such as Branch Managers and buyers
  • – Act as a brand ambassador, raising awareness of the product at all times and assisting with training of wholesale staff
  • – Organise marketing/events that will assist you in achieving yours and your client’s goals
  • – Represent the company at Trade Shows and Exhibitions
  • – General admin duties, experience of CRM systems (training given on their system teamgate) and good IT skills

 
Essentials:
 

  • – Well-organised and self-driven with good time management skills
  • – Personable and persuasive
  • – Commercially aware and experience of working out prices and margins
  • – Ideally 1-2 years sales experience (industry experience not essential)
  • – Interested in being part of a small growing company with a fun, relaxed atmosphere
  • Driving Licence ESSENTIAL
