Direct Sales Business Development Manager – Based Newbury
£30-35,000 plus commission
Car allowance, laptop, mobile

Responsibilities:
• Assist existing clients with their energy renewals; proactively working the renewal pipeline and to ensure their high retention rate is maintained
• Promptly deal with new warm leads as they are created
• Obtain new opportunities by asking for referrals from happy customers and acquire suitable testimonials
• Develop new opportunities by networking and attending events to make sure relationships are built on common themes
• Manage the progress of upcoming opportunities and leads through the CRM system
• Accurately profile prospects; collecting all the information required – including Letter of Authorities and billing information – concisely understand a prospects current position with regards to their energy contracts
• Audit current energy bills and provide feedback with the aim of creating an opportunity to quote on their energy renewal
• Price SME and Corporate opportunities through their Ambolt system and provide quotations to customers in a timely manner
• Negotiate prices for corporate tenders and present to clients the offering in a professional environment
• Provide consultative advice to customers on the solutions available to them and additionally explore areas of the company’s future energy strategy and possible growth
Required skills & experience
• Previous Sales experience at least 3 years’ experience ideal but not essential
• Numeric and analytical
• Ability to solve detailed problems and use own initiative
• Good communication skills
• Confident Telephone Manner
