Marketing Executive
Newbury (some travel to the Maidenhead office)
£25,000 – £28,000 per annum DOE
Full time, permanent 9.00am to 5.30pm
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive who will provide Marketing support and ideas to deliver and develop business opportunities from the existing client base, new prospects and targets.
The successful candidate will work closely with the marketing team to implement a marketing strategy across multiple teams and offices. The role requires autonomy and initiative and places particular emphasis on digital marketing and event management.

  • Website – maintain the website using WordPress and where necessary through liaison with external Design agency. Measure and report on website visits, clicks and engagement on a monthly basis. Research and write content to boost SEO rankings. Measuring success of website and any campaigns via customised dashboards available.
  • Knowledge of and confident in, Adobe Suite software including InDesign. If not already proficient, the ability and enthusiasm to learn Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, After Effects and Adobe Audition.
  • Event management & delivery. Planning content, creating invitee lists, invitations, developing supporting digital/hard copy materials, managing responses, setting up, managing and attending events. Some events may require travel and early mornings or late evenings.
  • Measure campaign success via trackable links, levels of engagement, number of event attendees, budgetary measures and any other relevant KPI’s. Report in detail on this success and anything that could be improved.
  • Knowledge of and confident in using an email marketing system (ideally Tikit’s
    eMarketing system but otherwise DotMailer or MailChimp.)
  • Social Media Marketing. Delivering campaigns through LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Experience in or ability to produce videos and podcasts.
  • PR & Comms. Confident and skilled in copywriting engaging content for use across online platforms and drafting copy for team and PR agent. Designing
    adverts, articles, social media images or other marketing material as required.
  • Social Media. Promotion of news through the website, LinkedIn, Twitter and Passle, and promote amongst teams. Liaise with PR agent to identify opportunities for external press and manage PR across relevant teams and projects.
  • Internal communications – prepare and distribute progress reports, minutes and action points. Production of materials for internal circulation.
  • Project/campaign management – plan and execute discrete campaigns (co-ordinating groups of fee-earners, prepare materials, manage mailings, events and follow-up activity, and regular reporting).
  • Work closely with allocated practice areas to implement a marketing strategy to achieve the goals set by each team. Attend team meetings, contribute new ideas and encourage team – ensuring campaigns fit in to the wider firm marketing objectives.
  • Assist in developing marketing and BD opportunities, e.g. analysis of financial reports and Tikit Connect data to identify possible cross-selling opportunities and new targets.
  • Data management and administration – assist with administration, maintenance and encouraging use of the firm’s database (Tikit Connect).
  • General administration including dealing with invoices, updating budget spreadsheets, answering phone calls and carrying out marketing inductions for/taking photographs of new starters.
