Contract: 6 months (Full time)

Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Analyst, provides analysis, planning and reporting to the worldwide Sales and Services function, including providing the Sales organization with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and analysis that can be utilized as the basis for making informed decisions about their business.

You will perform analysis and planning activities for operations including pipeline, bookings, forecasting, actual and goal attainment reporting.

The Sales Operations Analyst will be able to document data findings, provide details, and present findings with recommendations to management. The individual will enhance the running of reports and automate each as necessary. The goal is to create one single source of truth when it comes to data reporting.

The position will also involve creation and maintenance of complex spreadsheets and the ability to create reports or presentations from the results. This includes heavy data analysis and research, with the ability to manipulate, analyze, and trend the results.
In addition, this person must create new methods of communicating financial analysis and reporting to assist the greater executive management team in understanding their business.

In addition to the above, the Sales Operations Analyst will support any management and project related reporting

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensures availability and provision of relevant bookings, pipeline and forecast reports and dashboards to management 
• Maintain and regularly cleanse the data relating to the sales and service functions to ensure the systems are up to date with the correct quota and regional information

• Perform analysis of bookings, forecast rollups, pipeline, and trending
• Assists sales management with specific report and dashboards requests to support strategic and tactical initiatives
• Create dashboards highlighting business trends for management
• Analyze and manage data for metrics for senior management and executives
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests and prioritizes against competing efforts
• Facilitate EMEA wide quarterly MBO tracking
• Acts as a primary contact for reporting queries in EMEA
• Run daily, monthly and quarterly reports


Fluency in written and verbal English as well as German essential

• Experience working in the EMEA market
• Software industry background ideal
• Advanced level of expertise using Microsoft Office suite 
• Especially advanced Excel skills with strong technical ability to automate Reports (Pivots, Vlookups, Macros)
• Experience with financial modelling and analytical tools such as Excel, databases, etc. Nice to have: experience using Salesforce, SAP and analytics tools
• Ability to take a process from start to finish, including analyzing and understanding the nature of the tasks required to complete the process
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage conflicting priorities and to complete assignments under aggressive time constraints, independently.
• General understanding of Sales Systems and knowledge domains relevant to specific processes and practices (within their application track)
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, required
• Has an understanding of the people, processes, technology issues and a passion regarding customer service (internal and external) and delivery/execution.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of organization, management levels, cultures, and personalities
• Strong drive and will to succeed
• Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar field or equivalent experience
• 3-4 years of Sales Operations or Financial Analysis or equivalent experience
