Job Summary 
 
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Telemarketing Specialist to contribute in generating sales-qualified leads or meetings for their technology clients following marketing and lead generation campaigns, focussing predominantly on, hardware, SaaS, ITSM and CSM new business. 
You will be responsible for nurturing data and securing meetings for their clients. 
Excellent communication and people skills are required. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints, rejections and doubts. 
An understanding of IT, ITSM and CSM is required, however candidates with a strong telesales/telemarketing background will be considered. 
As part of the team you will be involved in the project from proposal through to delivery giving you a full understanding of the campaign and messaging prior to calling. 
 
Responsibilities include:  

  • Nurture data from the campaign to generate meetings and sales-qualified leads for the campaign. 
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close meetings 
  • Answer questions about products or the company 
  • Direct prospects to the account manager when needed 
  • Enter and update customer information in the database 
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation 
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales 
  • Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information 

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in telemarketing or other sales/customer service role 
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone 
  • Good knowledge of ServiceNow and ITSM. 
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection 
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
