IT Technician Location: Southend-on-Sea, Essex The hours you would work: Monday to Friday, between 09.00am and 17.30pm (37.5 hours per week).   An excellent opportunity has rearisen to work for our fantastic client in Southend as an IT Technician. As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for: * Working part of the desktop support team, managing requests logged by users across the business. * Performing routine tasks including re-setting passwords, restoring files, setting up new users. * Help manage local area network for all sites. * Carry out and complete assigned IT project work. * Testing and monitoring of IT resources. * Providing reports on IT service desk calls, assets and backups. The successful IT Technician will have the following related skills / experience: * Good understanding of Microsoft and Mac systems. * Knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365. * Excellent organisational skills. * Experience working with Windows 10 & 11. * Service desk experience – 1st / 2nd line support of windows environments.
